This website is an unexpected free gift that came when a new mail domain was required. Demon, which had changed hands a few times in the past, was finally being shut down by its latest owner Vodaphone and so, after 34 years with the same address, I needed a new email domain. After a lot of research it looked like one.com was going to be the cheapest option and would provide all the bells and whistles I look for: multiple email accounts and mail aliases, ability to access mail on multiple devices and a reliable service. Turns out the bells and whistles were just part of a larger band that included a photo library, and webspace with set of wordpress templates.

At present the site name is Whistleberry (don’t look it up!) because I did a fanzine of that name in 1984. And that name was taken from Whistleberry Rd in Hamilton, just because I liked the sound of it. But you didn’t need to know that.

The site will eventually contain a lot more you don’t need to know and many more items I don’t know much about either.
